This custom designed murphy bed aimed to transform an existing guest bedroom into an office. Most existing Murphy bed systems are limited in aesthetic choices, so this client was looking for one that could both functionally serve as display shelves for their office but also offer a warm contemporary aesthetic. When folded down, the display shelves and their supports function as the legs for the bedroom. To add a little bit of Miami flare for guests staying in the room, a lush tropical wallpaper is revealed when the bed is pulled down.
