THE NETWORKING COMPANY PROJECT IS AN OFFICE BUILD-OUT FOR A COMPANY THAT GLOBABLY SELLS NETWORKING EQUIPMENT. THE BUILD-OUT CONSISTS OF A LIGHT RENOVATION OF APPROXIMATELY 10,000 SQUARE FEET OF WAREHOUSE STORAGE SPACE AS WELL AS A COMPLETE DEMOLITION AND REBUILD OF 2,200 SQUARE FEET OF OFFICE SPACE TO HOST THE ADMINISTRATIVE AND SALES TEAMS. THE PROJECT IS CURRENTLY AWAITING BIDS AND WILL LIKELY BEGIN CONSTRUCTION IN 2023.


WHILE MORE EXPENSIVE THAN EXPANDING THE SALES TEAM ACROSS THE SECOND FLOOR, A KEY PRIORITY FOR THE COMPANY WAS TO MAXIMIZE THE AMOUNT OF WAREHOUSE SPACE RESULTING IN THE COMPACT FORM OF THE OFFICE BUILD-OUT. THIS ENABLED US TO RECOUP ALMOST 2,000 ADDITIONAL SQUARE FEET (25%) FROM PREVIOUS DESIGNS THAT SPREAD THE PROGRAMMATIC REQUIREMENTS ACROSS THE WAREHOUSE FLOOR.





ONE MAIN PRIORITY FOR THE COMPANY WAS TO HAVE A WELCOMING ENTRY SEQUENCE INTO THE SPACE WHERE THEY COULD GUIDE PROSPECTIVE CLIENTS DIRECTLY INTO A CONFERENCE ROOM ON THE FIRST LEVEL TO DEMONSTRATE AND DISPLAY PRODUCT. THE MIDLEVEL OF THE RENOVATION HOSTS THE MANAGEMENT AND FUNCTIONAL SPACES (E.G. KITCHEN AND BATHROOMS). THE THIRD FLOOR HOSTS THE SALES TEAM IN AN OPEN FLOOR PLAN OVERLOOKING THE WAREHOUSE FLOOR.
