THE TEAM
MAX
CO-FOUNDER
Max is a licensed Architect and a co-founder of Daft Büro. Additionally, he is an Assistant Professor of Research and Director of Fabrication at the University of Miami where he oversees the fabrication facilities and operations. He teaches courses on robotics, digital fabrication, and emerging technology in the field of Architecture. He has been included in a variety of publications such as Architect Magazine and MAS Context and presented in conferences including the 2023 Smart Cities Conference and the 2019 AIA Conference. Max holds a Master of Architecture from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Additionally, he holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Miami.
JESS
CO-FOUNDER
Jessica Pace is a licensed architect and co-founder of Daft Buro Architecture. In addition, she is also lectures at the University of Miami where she teaches courses in the undergraduate program from early design to integrated building systems courses. She has worked on a variety of building typologies and scales including single family residential, commercial offices, and hospitality including a recently completed 250,000 square foot corporate headquarters in Florida. Jess holds a Master of Architecture from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). While attending MIT Jess won numerous awards and was awarded a Teaching Fellowship at the MIT.
SAMUEL
PROJECT MANAGER
Sam brings over ten years of experience within prominent international architecture and interiors firms, with experience in Commercial Core and Shell, Adaptive-Reuse, Historic Preservation, and Hotel/Restaurant Hospitality. He also has a keen focus on accessibility in the built environment.
SIDNEY
DESIGNER
Sidney is a recent graduate from the University of Miami with B. Arch and Minor in Art. He approaches design with hands-on engagement and aims to infuse functionality with creativity.
MARS
HR
Mars is a model of self-care behavior. He demonstrates this to the office by napping throughout the entire day, except for lunch.
KUKA
OFFICE MANAGER
Kuka spends most of the day overseeing office operations. He thoroughly enjoys jumping in on zoom meetings and ensuring the keyboards stay warm.
